Starfishes, sea cucumbers, corals, octopuses, seahorses... Do you know you don't need to dive to see all these exciting marine life in Singapore? Join our half-day guided walk at Pulau Semakau and get ready to explore the richness of the seagrass meadows and coral reefs! You'll also get to go on a tour of the landfill.

Suitable for all levels of students, teachers and general public.
The walks are non-profit exercises, designed to maximize the public’s access to Pulau Semakau. However, because boats are needed to bring people across the sea, there is a high overhead to the programme.
In addition, we will have to cover the stipend of the guides, administrative costs, programme overhead expenses and GST to ensure the programme is successful. Our philosophy is one of “breaking even” with overall costs and non-profit. As such, costs have been kept down to the absolute minimal. It is unfortunate at this juncture, that the programme cannot be free.
Exclusive Trips
If you prefer to book exclusive trips for your organisation instead of joining the public walks, kindly note that we only cater to a group size of 60 pax for weekend trips, and a group size of 30 pax for weekday trips.
Notice: We are fully booked for exclusive walks this year.

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable pre-payment is required. Details on payment will be emailed to you upon registration.
Bookings can only be made through email to Mr Ron Yeo at ronyeo@nus.edu.sg. Booking are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Bookings will only be accepted after full payment is received and cleared by the organiser. Payment is by cheque only, made payable to “National University of Singapore”. Bookings will be confirmed by emails.
Payment is non-refundable if the group/individual does not show up on the day of the walk.
If the trip is cancelled by the organiser because of bad weather, transport problems or other reasons, another trip will be arranged.
All participants will have to sign an indemnity form each for NEA as well as RMBR before embarking on the boat to Semakau.
For safety reasons, participants are restricted to an age group from 7 to 65.
Participants must bring along identification papers (Identification Cards for locals, Passports for foreigners).
Participants are advised to arrive at least 15 mins before the stipulated time as the ferry will leave punctually. We do not wait for late-comers.
