Arrival after office hours - collect keys from
Office of Estate & Development (OED) Security Guardpost:
If you are arriving after these hours, RMBR will arrange for the
keys to be collected at the Office of Estate & Development
(OED) Security Guardpost at Estate Office Drive, which is open
24 hours a day. Refer to the
map for the location.
If you are coming from the airport, do the following:
1. Take a taxi from Changi Airport to NUS (note
that there is a $3 surcharge from the airport in addition to the
metered fare).
2. The taxi will take the East Coast Expressway
from the airport, and then the Ayer Rajah expressway.
3. There are two entrances to the university;
tell the driver to exit the expressway at the Clementi Road exit,
and then turn left into Kent Ridge Cresent.
4. When the taxi turns into NUS (Kent Ridge Cresent),
you will pass the University Cultural Center (UCC), and then lookout
for the Estate Office Drive on the left. The OED security post
is located here.
5. The security staff will be there, and will
be aware that you are arriving to collect the keys.
6. Ask the taxi to wait while you collect the
keys from the security, after identifying yourself.
7. Back to the Kent Ridge Cresent, ask the taxi
driver to continue in the original direction that you were traveling.
8. When you reach a roundabout (road circle),
proceed straight and continue along Kent Ridge Crescent.
9. Almost immediately across the road (on the
right) will be the Visitor's Lodge; the taxi will have to do a
U-turn to drop you at the entrance.
The room number is indicated on the key tags.
Happy snoozing!
