As part of International Museum Day celebrations,

The Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research, NUS (RMBR) and National Archives of Singapore (NAS) present The M. I. A. Trail!
Saturday 31st May 2008, 5.15 pm & 6.15 pm

Discover secrets of Singapore's biodiversity at the Raffles Museum, stroll through picturesque Kent Ridge to Reflections at Bukit Chandu, which marks the defense of the ridge during WWII.

This is a unique opportunity to visit the two museum galleries and a nature park at night with experienced museum guides!

Registration
Registration is free, but there are only 80 places. Please email Eileen Ng at eileen_ng@nhb.gov.sg OR call her at 6332-7973 with the following information:

If you are successful in registering, you will receive a confirmation from Eileen. We are sorry we are unable to take more than 80 due to the limitations of the size of the galleries and the number of volunteer guides.

Registered participants will meet their guides at Harbourfront Centre Bus Bay. This is near the Singapore Cruise Centre, Lobby C. Walk past the money changer and through the glass doors to the bus waiting area. Please be punctual!

Tour times

  • 5.15pm - 10.30pm
  • 6.15pm - 11.30pm

Do come prepared!
You should bring:

  • Walking shoes or sandals - stilettos might get stuck in the boardwalk slats :-)
  • Water
  • Snack (its a long tour!)
  • Foldable umbrella.
  • Insect repellent.
  • Taxi fare (midnight surcharge!) to return home!
Participants will be guided by the volunteer Pasir Panjang Heritage Guides from the Raffles Museum Toddycats in collaboration with the National Archives of Singapore!
