About
the name - Volunteers with the Raffles Museum of
Biodiversity Resarch, NUS are know as Toddycats!.
This name is derived from the logo of the Raffles Museum,
which is a toddy cat on a palm leaf. To find out the

About
the programme - Toddycats! is meant to expose,
develop, enthuse and apply the individual to programmes in
conservation, education and research. Toddycats!
originally was an attempt to provide capacity building
amongst undergraduates in NUS, to provide a means to
contribute immediately towards the greater good of Singapore. It
has been open to others in the recognition that all you
really need is enthusiasm and commitment!
Public Education through:- interaction with guides and exhibits during public exhibitions at high traffic sites,
- guided tours and special programmes at the unique Raffles Museum's Public Gallery,
- public programmes to introduce natural history and heritage in sites around Singapore,
- introducing SIngapore's biodiversity and heritage through public seminars.
Resource provision and Capacity Building through:- providing information resources though webpages and blogs,
- capacity building of commited groups,
- research into natural history, environment and heritage issues, and understanding policy and attitudes,
- partnerships with other agencies, groups and institutions,
- meeting and learning from others who have made a difference,
- participating as a responsible citizen.
