Nei Xue Tang – A Buddhist Art Museum

The Nei Xue Tang collection amased oveer 35 years showcases a varierty of rare and significant Buddhist artefacts, amulets, talismans, relics, antiquities, and works of art from South East Asia, China, Japan, Tibet, Nepal and Afghanistan.

Buddhist art of calligraphy, oil and Chinese ink on rice paper by world renowned Singaporean artist, Tan Swie Hian, is on display here. The collection includes a wide array of artefacts made from gold, silver, bronze, stone, horns, jade, crystal and is housed in a pre-war house which is itself an architectural attraction.

Nei Xue Tang operates under the House Museum scheme, which allows prominent collectors to show their private collections in their homes.
