The Museum Roundtable was formed in 1996 with the aim to bring museums closer to the public and to cultivate awareness and appreciation of our heritage, culture and arts. Chaired by the National Heritage Board, the Museum Roundtable comprises:

Each year, the Museum Roundtable presents MuseumFest to commemorate the International Museum Day.

This year, the event will be at
Suntec City (outside Carrefour)
from Friday 24th May to Sunday 26 May 2002: 11am - 8pm.

It will include exciting booths set up by participating museums, as well as lots of fun and educational activities for families.

MuseumFest aim to make museums more accessible to the public and to foster a greater interest in visiting museums.
