Transect Survey in September
20 Sep 2009

Project Semakau had its last transect survey of the year on 20 Sep 2009, and a total of 51 volunteers turned up for this survey.

This was also the first evening survey in six months. The sky was overcast when the volunteers started doing the survey, and it even drizzled a little some time later.

Fortunately, there was no lightning, and the drizzle only lasted on a short while.

As some of the volunteers did not turn up, a few groups had to do two transects, and one volunteer even had to do it alone.

The survey was still completed in time though, thanks to the very competent volunteers who helped each other out.

Here are some of the photographs taken during the survey.

Most of the surveyors got to do in pairs.
