Distribution: Sungei Punggol, Singapore River, Kallang Basin, Sungei Buloh

Trochochaetidae

They are mainly found in fine sands and muds in fragile tubes formed of fibrous secretions and sediment particles. The worms continously lengthen and add branches to their tubes sometimes forming dense mats. They are considered to be selective bottom deposit-feeders utilizing their palps to collect food.
