Trichobranchaetidae

They are mainly found in mud filled crevices. They stretch out their long tentacles to search for detritus. They are also found in other areas on muddy bottoms and living in mucus tubes covered with foraminiferan shells. They are tubicolous inhabitants of muddy to muddy sand substrates or heavy deposits of silt and organic detritus They are often found in seagrass beds. Species found in Singapore include:
