Distribution: Pulau Tekong, Kallang Basin, Pulau Semakau, Sungei Punggol, Sungei Buloh, Singapore River

Most orbiniids burrow in the sandy mud banks and do not make permanent tubes. They ingest particulate organic matter and are non selective deposit feeders. They used their prostomium and muscular thorax to burrow through sandy to muddy substrates while their parapodium protect the gills.
