"Marine Life in Singapore: Surprises and Challenges"

"Marine Life in Singapore: Surprises and Challenges" is a talk conducted in conjunction with the International Coastal Cleanup Singapore, 18th September 2004.

The talk will be conducted by N. Sivasothi, the Coordinator of the International Coastal Cleanup Singapore on Monday, 6 Sep 2004 at 1pm at Lecture Theatre 15, Blk AS 6, Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore.

Last Saturday afternoon (4 Sep 2004), a workshop was conducted for Site Buddies of the ICCS by Raffles Museum volunteers in LT25 and West Coast Park beach. See the report in Habitatnews.

Faculty of Science 75th Anniversary - Pasir Panjang Heritage Walk

NUS alumni, staff, friends and relatives turned up at the Raffles Museum Public Gallery on Sunday 5th September 2004 for the Pasir Panjang Heritage Walk, as part of celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the Faculty of Science.

The group began with a tour of the gallery, and were then bussed to the Ridge, and later headed off to Kent Ridge Park and finally visited Reflections at Bukit Chandu, the museum that commemorates the Battle of Pasir Panjang.
