Care for Nature, Respect for Animals - The work of SZG Docents

Abstract
The SZG Docents are a group of volunteers who complement the educational efforts of the Singapore Zoological Gardens (SZG) and Night Safari (NS) by providing special programmes which educate visitors on conservation awareness and encourage love and respect for animals. SZG docents are united by the commitment to reach out to visitors to raise awareness about conservation issues and to fulfill the mission of bringing the understanding of nature closer to the hearts of both young and old the mysteries and wonders of nature.
