About the Talk Understand, appreciate, conserve and select tropical trees to suit urban environments. An introduction to how people and plants can co-exist symbiotically to create healthy and aesthetically-pleasing metropolitan living areas.
About the speaker The author was the Honorary President of the Nature Society (Singapore) (1990 - 1995), ex-director of the National Council on the Environment (1992 - 1996) which is now the Singapore Environment Council. In retirement, he travels the world seeking out and photographing plants and wildlife.
